Great décor with a buzzy vibe, this place serves tasty wines, small bites and more substantial mains – all of which are great examples of fresh NZ fusion cuisine. It’s fairly pricey but the two owners (Andrew and Jonathan) and staff are super friendly and we just love it.
As a locals, we love knowing there’s a place that’s open most of the year around (even through the depths of winter) and which continuously serves up good food and good times.
Another thing we love about The Oyster Inn is that it’s always bringing new events to Island, whether that’s Sunday jazz sessions or special wine and food matching nights.
